Should I alkalize my body?
The premise of an alkaline diet is that nutrients found in supplements, alkalizing foods, and water can bring the body back to balance. These vitamins, minerals, herbs and infuse the body with new energy, vitality and better health.
I have read considerably, and learned the theory very much of the effects of an acidic shape environment. Here is a short & quick list of what scientific studies have shown when you have an acidic environment…
* In your joints- erodes vital cartilage and leaves joints painfully inflamed.
* Attacks your lungs, liver, pancreas and every other vital organ in your body, aging them before their time and leaving you vulnerable to a major health nightmare down the road.
* Damages delicate enzymes that are essential for fighting germ properly digesting foods and even breathing.
What does this all mean? When pH balance inside the body is out of balance, the body tries to correct the delicate pH balance. This process may create uncomfortable symptoms, such as colds, flues, allergies, diseases, viruses and bacteria.Thus, turning to alkaline forming foods, may be something to consider. Of course, it is always wise and the recommendation of this author for you to check with your health professional to help you make the best health decision that is appropriate for you.
Transition to a healthier diet alkaline require a change of attitude toward food. The main thing is keep going, don’t stop and you’ll get to your goal. Keep adding alkaline foods slowly bur consistently to help you. Keep these in mind, I trust they will serve you:
Don’t take in as much sugar, this includes sodas, jello, ice cream, candy, etc..
* Avoid processed foods and condiments including ketchup, salad dressings, pickles, breakfast meats, canned fruit, bread, taste, cheese dips, peanut butter, prepared seafood, frozen vegetables, biscuits, canned soups, hot dogs, sausages, sweetened yogurt.
* Don’t use the microwave, it kills pretty much every nutritional value of a food you eat.
Avoid those fried foods and fast food. They call them junk food for a reason.
* Eat more veggies, especially those green leafy vegetables. That’s why Momma always made us eat our veggies.
* cereals form the basis of a balanced diet and are important in maintaining the alkaline balance the body. Grains are great source of vitamins, minerals and essential nutrients, including folic acid, fiber, antioxidants and phytoestrogens carbohydrates. The Department of Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota has established that consumption of whole grains reduces the risk of chronic diseases including cancer and cardiovascular disease. Eating cereal you can eat less but feel full. Grains should comprise about 20% of your diet.
* Do not forget to hydrate. Drink at least half your body weight in ounces of good quality water every day. Add liquid minerals to increase the quality of water.
* Relax, do yoga exercises or get a yogi to help you produce that relaxing state.
Create alkaline balance within your human body will bring a far better quality of life. You just may begin to see immediate changes in your health. You may notice an increas in energy, your concentration may be stronger. See what happens to your build strength, endurance and resistance to disease. In general, you may find that your entire body may work more efficiently, just as it was designed to do.
